Dr. Éva Szigeti has been the director of the Trade Mark Division since 1981 and deputy managing partner of Danubia Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys since 1990.
 
She studied at the Law School of the Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences of Budapest (LLD in 1975) and was admitted in 1978.
 
Her practice covers trademark prosecution and litigation and unfair competition cases. She is involved in the training programme of the Hungarian Patent Office to teach trademark agents. She has been appointed to the Codification Committee of the new Hungarian Trade Mark Act.
 
She has been a frequent speaker on trademark law and geographical indication at conferences in Hungary and at an international level. She has published numerous articles about trademark law and practice.

Memberships:
She is active in many professional trademark organizations. She is on the Board of the Hungarian Trademark Association; She has been an EU Subcommittee chair of the INTA for 4 years and she was Council member of MARQUES between 1991-2009, and member of the ECTA, PTMG, ITMA and AIPPI.
