Since our start in 2008, the seasoned attorneys-at-law of Heffels Spiegeler Advocaten have been focusing on providing comprehensive legal service on an international corporate level as well as governmental level. Our clients are companies among which international start-up ventures, embassies, states and the non-profit sector. The concept of our firm is unique in the Netherlands. We have attorneys-at-law from France, Germany, the Netherlands and China within one firm working closely together. We are the only firm in the Netherlands having both a Chinese, German, French and Dutch desk. Our main base is The Hague, but we also have offices in Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam. Our attorneys have a lot of experience in varies areas of law, including contract, privacy, intellectual property, trade, investment, M&A, litigation and arbitration, and many more. We have helped many international clients to manage their intangible properties, to avoid intellectual property disputes ex-ante and to protect their own benefits in litigations or arbitrations. We can also work on behalf of our client to negotiate with the other parties. Our founding partner Brigitte Spiegeler has been a legal advisor at Ministry of Economic Affairs in the Netherlands and was responsible for international treaty negotiations. Our firm has maintained a good network with the Netherlands government and foreign governments, such as France and Germany. Being an international law firm, Heffels Spiegeler Advocaten has native speaking attorneys-at-law from the Netherlands, Germany, France and Taiwan. Therefore, we can provide our clients not only Dutch law knowledge but also legal advice and planning of French, German and European Union Law. Located in Europe, we also have a specific Asia desk that provides services to clients from Asia.
