Li Mingde
　　Li Mingde is currently a research fellow and chief IP law expert at the Institute of Law of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), a doctoral tutor of CASS Graduate School, Director of IP Research Center in CASS, an expert with the Academic Review Panel of the National Social Science Fund of China, an executive vice-president of China Intellectual Property Law Association, a member of the National Intellectual Property Rights Expert Advisory Committee, an arbitrator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission.
　　In April 2014 Li Mingde officially published another masterpiece of American Intellectual Property Law (2nd Edition) . The first and second edition of American Intellectual Property Law, which took Li Mingde 12 years, comprehensively, profoundly and concisely introduce the IP legal system of the U.S., and provide significant reference for China’s legislation and judicial practices as well as relevant academic researches.
　　Li Mingde wears elegant temperament, rigorous thought, unique perspective, and earns good reputation and growing popularity in IP industry. It is a compulsory course for IP practitioners who intend to do a good job to understand Professor Li’s thoughts and views, which echoes an old saying “What the great learning teaches is to illustrate illustrious virtue.”

　　Zhou Yan
　　Zhou Yan, Deputy Director of Beijing Intellectual Property Office, is also a member in the expert database of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), and a guest professor at the School of Juris Master of China University of Political Science and Law. She has many years of experience in the management of IP practice. During her term in Beijing Intellectual Property Office, Zhou Yan takes charge of promotion of patent creation, IP industry development and research, financial innovation, overseas IP warning, IP issues in colleges and universities and research institutions, IP work of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Zone, IP service ordination and implementation in Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park and SMEs, etc.
　　Zhou Yan has made great contribution in promoting patent innovation and industrialization, driving the IP industrial development and research, providing services for scientific research institutions and sci-tech parks, intensifying patent application and financial innovation, etc., all of which had got the wide recognition from both the superior units and the IP industry. For decades, she experienced the development and changes of China’s IP cause, witnessed and participated in the growing improvement of China’s IP management.
