The “China Copyright Conference 2009” opened in Beijing on November 20. Awards were given for “distinguished figure in copyright industry”, “the most influential enterprise” and “special contribution” as well as the “second national university student copyright essay competition”.

Yan Xiaohong, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Press and Publication and deputy director of National Copyright Administration, and Shen Rengan, director of the Copyright Society of China, addressed the opening ceremony themed “copyright resource tapping and value uplift under digital environment”.
